Time for Yourself

I am taking some much needed time off in June to 'recharge" my yoga batteries. For this post I would love to encourage all budding yogis as well as long time yoga practitioners to find time in there busy summer schedules to take time for themselves. Maybe explore a new practice, try a new teacher, delve into an aspect of your current practice that you would like to deepen, such as meditation or deep relaxation ( yoga nidra )  Take a workshop. Add an aspect of yoga to your summertime outdoor activity , such as yoga stretches before taking a hike or swim, do yoga in your pool or lake, go to the beach early watching the sunrise as you meditate on the new day!
Or just taking time to stop and watch your breath as you sit in summertime traffic. Take time to listen to your body, mind and breath this summer and see what it is telling you. Enjoy!
